PLEASE NOTE CHANGE AFFECTING E-MAIL FROM PREFERRED CARE
Preferred Care encrypts all Protected Health Information (PHI) e-mail communication as part of our corporate security policy in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
All outgoing (Internet) PHI e-mail from Preferred Care will be encrypted and delivered to the recipient's e-mail address via ZixVPMT, or ZixMail.
If you receive a protected ZixMail message from Preferred Care, you will receive an e-mail notice in your regular e-mail inbox directing you to our secure ZixPort Web site. There you can register for a private password that will give you access to your own secure e-mail message center, from which you can receive, open and read secure e-mail, and reply to it.
There is no cost to you for using the Preferred Care ZixMail secure e-mail message center.
