Members of Preferred Care Gold plans can participate in the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program at no additional cost!
The SilverSneakers Program, as featured in TIME Magazine*, includes:
- Classes and use of equipment and other programs at a safe, warm, friendly fitness center in your area. (Click "SilverSneakers Locations" to the right for a list.)
- A fun group exercise class designed to increase strength, flexibility and energy (and you can share some laughter while you're there).
- Social events at which you can make new friends with some great people!
How to Get Started with SilverSneakers:
Step 1: Choose a participating fitness center.

- A fitness center close to your home is a good option
- We invite you to join one or try them all!
Step 2: Sign up at the fitness center of your choice
- Present your Preferred Care Gold plan membership ID card to the person at the front desk
- Ask to join the SilverSneakers Fitness Program
- The desk attendant will take care of the rest!
Step 3: Take a tour with a staff member, who will show you:
- All the fitness equipment
- The exercise room where SilverSneakers Classes will be held
- Where the locker rooms are located
During the tour, you may ask any questions, such as:
- What to wear during your workout
- If towels are provided for the showers
- What additional classes and services are offered
Step 4: Start enjoying the SilverSneakers Fitness Program-at no additional cost!
- You may visit your chosen fitness location any time
- Call the fitness center ahead of time if you would like to schedule an orientation
