Take a weekend away from your everyday stresses. Preferred Care
has joined with YMCA of Greater Rochester to offer the Women’s
Adventure Weekend, especially for those who want a chance to unwind
and experience the Adirondacks in all their early fall splendor.
Take a yoga class. Sample some wonderful wines and dine on delicious,
healthy food prepared just for you. Learn to cook healthy. Experience
an early morning canoe trip...or refreshing hike. And that’s
not all.
There are plenty of activities to keep you active and feeling
rewarded. While you’re there, you’ll have the opportunity
to go rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, play tennis, mountain
bike the wooded trails, hike up one of the majestic mountains.
Do whatever you like - it’s your choice.
Program participants will stay in Camp Gorham’s beautiful,
Adirondack-style cabins near the waterfront. All cabins are heated
and have bathrooms with showers, fireplaces, a porch and kitchenette.
Participants will share cabins, 4 per cabin, 2 per room
Friends will be housed together by request (if space is available).
But act quickly: space is limited and available on a first-come,
first-serve basis.
Your meals will not be typical camp food. You may choose a low-fat
dining experience! Vegetarian options will be available for those
who request them. (Please inform us of any food allergies or restrictions.)
Massage Therapy will be available for an additional fee*. For
your health, Camp Gorham is a non-smoking facility.
