Great Grilled Fruit Kabobs
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. canola oil
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 apples, cored and cut into 1-inch pieces
2 pears, pitted and cut into 1-inch pieces
2 peaches, nectarines or plums (or a mixture), pitted and cut into
1-inch pieces
2 bananas, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
4 1-inch slices pineapple (fresh or canned in juice) cut into chunks
Instructions In small bowl, stir together oil, brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon until sugar is dissolved. Thread fruit alternately onto 8 skewers. Brush kebabs with oil mixture and place skewers on barbecue grill. Turn frequently until fruit starts to brown, 6-8 minutes.
